JUDr. Artúr Fried LL.M.
Artúr is the founding partner of AKF Legal. He acts for individuals, owner-managed businesses, domestic and international companies in cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity transactions and projects. Artúr specialises in joint ventures and fundraisings. He had key-roles in a number of high profile transactions providing M&A advise and corresponding sector experience. Artúr gives advice on data protection matters, intellectual property law, marketing law, consumer law and legal aspects relating to digitalization (such as legal advice for digital services, e-commerce and apps).
Jozef is a partner of AKF Legal. In his practice he specializes in real estate law, contractual agenda and data protection. Through close cooperation with Slovak and international clients, as a member of project teams, Jozef has gained unique experience and a comprehensive understanding of technical, legal and business aspects of real estate projects from their acquisition to sale. Jozef provides clients with advice on mergers and acquisitions, structuring relationships with financial investors, preparing and approving projects, as well as during the construction and subsequent sale of real estate projects. Jozef’s clients include important Slovak and foreign investors operating in the field of residential and commercial construction and operation of shopping centres. Clients especially appreciate Jozef’s understanding of technical issues related to the permitting process and construction of real estate projects, which is also contributed by the provision of advice regarding contractual agenda to leading architectural and design offices.
Dušan is an advocate from 2008. His extensive experience includes complex commercial litigation, corporate matters and commercial law, intellectual property rights, real estate matters (such as acquisitions, investments, disposal of real estate assets, property lease, including handling title issues and/ or restrictions under the zoning and building law, litigations, and administrative proceedings). In his practice, he regularly represents clients in disputes involving commercial law, law of contract, employment, and corporate law. His area of practice covers all industry sector with a special focus on construction, infrastructure, and energy, as well as financial services.
Ida Budayová Kuklišová
Ida specializes in employment law, competition law and EU law (including public procurement, free movement and state aid), regulatory issues as well as anti-corruption. She has extensive experience in providing corporate employment law advice to both national and international companies and organizations. The advice covers all areas of corporate employment law, inter alia, reorganizations, transfer of business, individual employment issues, trade secrets and work environment issues.
Kristína is a corporate and commercial law specialist, experienced in European and domestic M&A transactions, shareholders agreements and mergers. She was lawyer at Panasonic Europe for over 8 years, where she provided legal support to top management, as well as to all other levels of management in Panasonic’s companies around Europe. Kristína adviced on any cross-border issue that arises in connection with the marketing and sale of consumer electronic products in Europe, in particular international contracting, commercial, corporate, competition and legal compliance.
Rebecca has broad experience in all areas of intellectual property and corporate law. She specialises in intellectual property rights, information technology and data protection. She regularly assists both global and local clients in transactional matters, including license agreements, data transfer and outsourcing, as well as in strategic GDPR projects and compliance. Rebecca has experience working with large global companies as well as family-owned companies and start-ups. She is an experienced litigation lawyer, with focus on fighting and settling litigation disputes.
Alan regularly assists clients with issues related to general corporate law as well as commercial law. In his daily work, he helps with drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of commercial agreements and provides ongoing assistance on due diligence processes and litigation disputes. He also regularly represents clients within different types of mergers and acquisitions.
Lucia graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava and is a recent addition to the AKF Legal team. During her university studies, she worked in law firms, where she assisted clients in matters related to general corporate law as well as commercial law. In her day-to-day work, she assists in the preparation, revision and negotiation of various types of commercial contracts and provides ongoing assistance in due diligence and litigation disputes.
Martin graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law in 2021. He joined our team as junior associate, shortly, after successful completion of his studies. During his studies, he gained legal experience in a prestigious law office in Bratislava, where he primarily focused on business law, contract law and administrative law. In his daily work, Martin is heavily involved in commercial law, real estate law and administrative law.
